About Dr. Roberston

 

Paul Robertson is currently Director of System Clinical Education and Chaplaincy with Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. Paul graduated from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. He is also a certified Supervisor with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. He was a professor of theology at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for 15 years before entering Clinical Pastoral Education at The McFarland Institute of Christian Health Ministries in New Orleans. Dr. Robertson participated in the ACPE Residency and Supervisory Training while at the Institute. He held numerous academic appointments at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, including Director of Research Doctoral Programs, Director of the Doctor of Ministry Degree Program, and editor of The Theological Educator. An ordained Baptist minister, Dr. Robertson has co-authored with Fisher Humphreys God So Loved the World: Traditional Baptists and Calvinism. He has also contributed articles to numerous publications. He is married with two adult children and two grandchildren.
