About Dr. Bryant

 

Dr. Bryant is a Marriage & Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Chemical Dependency Specialist, and Ordained Minister. Dr. Bryant has been in clinical practice since 1989 working in medical, academic, and religious settings helping individuals and families resolve problems of the human condition. He holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and a PhD in Psychology & Christian Counseling. He is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), and Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). He is approved by the LPC, LMFT, and LCDC board as a clinical supervisor. He also holds board certification as a professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC).

Dr. Bryant served as Director of the Family Life Ministry (later the Pastoral Counseling Ministry) at Lakewood Church from 1999 to 2008. He is on full time staff at Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center in Houston Texas as the Manager of Spiritual Care and Staff Development. He also serves as the Clinical Director of Counseling Services at Christ over Our Life ministry and his counseling practice is located in the ministry headquarters of COOL Ministries.
