Dr. Eaton grew up in Abilene, Texas. He earned a BA in Religious Studies from TCU and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Vickie, ministered in Spain for more than a decade where Kent was a professor at an international school.
A PhD from the University of Wales in Church History further prepared him for the academy. For another decade, Kent served as Associate Dean at Bethel Seminary’s San Diego campus. He then pursued teaching and academic leadership at two Christian colleges—first at Fresno Pacific University and then at McPherson College in Kansas where he served as Provost.
The Eatons have three grown sons. Kent is especially passionate about embracing the rich diversity of God’s people and about ministry with the people who are most easily overlooked and underserved.
