The VOICE Event at HGST

On Monday, April 8, 7:00-8:00 pm, HGST will be hosting a presentation concerning The Voice, a new translation from Thomas Nelson Publishers. Several faculty are currently using The Voice, and many students have found the translation to be helpful. Dr. Chuck Pitts and Dr. Peter Davids, professors at HGST, and Jack Wisdom, chairman of the HGST Board of Trustees, worked on the translation project.

This meeting will be led by Dr. David Capes, Thomas Nelson Professor at Houston Baptist University, and Frank Couch, editor from Thomas Nelson. They will be talking about the project and sharing some insights on the process of Bible translations. Some freebies will be included at the meeting. Hope to see you there.
