Financial Aid and Student Services
Many students following the call to a seminary education are confronted with the practical challenge of determining a source of funding for that education. The Financial Aid Office at HGST is dedicated to helping students make the choice that is best for their personal financial situation and best for their future plans. Throughout the course of a student’s matriculation, the HGST Financial Aid Office is available to answer questions and provide guidance as students prepare educationally, spiritually and financially for a future in ministry. We continue to be available as a resource for our graduates long after they have left the seminary. It is the goal of the HGST Financial Aid Office to provide the highest quality financial aid service to our students and alumni alike.
Nearly 60% of students at HGST receive some kind of financial assistance in the form of loans, grants, or scholarships. Applications and information about financial aid are available in the financial aid office, which is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-4:30pm, Thursdays from 9am-7:00pm and Fridays 8:30am-3:00pm. If you have questions about financial aid services at HGST, please visit the links to the right or contact the Financial Aid Counselor, Linda Long.
