Keeping Life in Balance

By David B. Capes One of the people I like to follow is Michael Hyatt.  He is a Christian leader, mentor and, at one time, the head of Thomas Nelson Publishing, Inc.  Some of you may know that I have published a number of books with Thomas Nelson, so I have had the chance to work with Michael and his staff.  I've had the privilege of being on his podcasts too.  More about that later.  Michael is an amazing person, someone you ought to know.

Michael writes a blog regularly ,and it often helps me think about life and leadership.  Recently, he wrote about keeping life in balance.

Michael is amazingly productive and yet he manages to keep his life in balance.  Not perfect balance, I imagine, none of us can do that, but overall.  Work and ministry can make us one dimensional, uninteresting and ultimately unproductive people if are not intentional about other things that feed our souls.  Take a few minutes today.  Feed your soul.  And read Michael's blog.  Even better, pray through it quietly to see if there are things he suggests which might help you keep your work-life in balance.
