HGST Welcomes Three New Adjuncts This Spring!
This spring, three new instructors will begin teaching at HGST. Please join us in welcoming them to the HGST family!
Rosemary Behrens, PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, LPC-S, joins the faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Counselor Education. She received the Master of Arts in Counseling degree in 2008 from Houston Graduate School of Theology and was licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas in 2011. In 2018, she received a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Sam Houston State University.
Trey Medley, PhD in Philosopical Theology, takes on the role of Adjunct Professor of Philosophical Theology. George “Trey” Medley, III, recently completed his PhD in philosophical theology from King’s College London. He holds an MDiv from Beeson Divinity School and is an ordained minister within the Southern Baptist Convention (USA). He has taught courses in theology, philosophy, ethics, religion, and biblical interpretation in London, Birmingham (AL), Houston, and Kenya.
Rae Garr, PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology, joins the counseling faculty as an Adjunct Instructor of Counseling. Rae Garr is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology providing counseling services to students in special education. She obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and the Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. Currently, she is completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Walden University.
